Daddy's Day!

Today was Daddy's day, and here were what Ping gave me:




what Xuan gave me:




and what Ting Yee with the collaboration with the kids gave me:


Then we went out for lunch where the kids enjoyed playing with the COMs:




and switching them too!




During lunch, Xuan showed off his dancing skills:


and the afternoon ended with a trip to the Metro toy shop, where Xuan donned the Captain America shield and Ping became the Hulk!


and I bought two daddy's day presents for myself, which incidentally Xuan could also play with:


Ping really didn't look too interested in those toys:


Before going out to meet up with Ting Yee's relatives, she gave me a surprise present: Iron Man T-shirts with blinking reactor arc for Xuan and I!


During dinner, Ping showed off her sexy look:

Today was also an advance celebration of Xuan and Ping's birthday!




Yes, I actually wore the Iron Man T-shirt to the restaurant, complete with blinking reactor arc!

Man of Steel and Bedok Reservoir outing

After dropping off Ping at her childcare centre, we headed to Xuan's childcare centre and saw the amazing artwork that he had done, from flower making:

and I just love how he and his classmates can get along so well:


Because we spent more time at his centre, we had to postpone his abacus class to tomorrow, so that we could watch Man of Steel! After the movie, while we were having lunch, Xuan drew the fight scene between Superman and General Zod:

In the evening, while waiting for my mother for dinner, we walked around Bedok Reservoir with the kids:


who really seemed to enjoy it!

Live Long and Eat Rice!

During dinner, I asked Xuan to do his Vulcan salute:


while Ting Yee and Ping shared a moment together.. Ping asking for more rice that is!

Again, while waiting for Xuan to finish his classes, and for us to finish our food, Ping washed her baby shows again:


And back home, Xuan showed us a drawing of two person fighting, perhaps foreshadowing what he will be watching this coming Saturday:

Faraway Barney

Carrying on from yesterday, Xuan continued to draw his version of Star Wars:


and wrote some Chinese characters I was not sure what they were:


all these while Ping was showing off her chair climbing skill:

We went to City Square Mall to have lunch and watch the Barney from afar because we didn't want to cramp with all those Kiasu Singaporeans like what we did the last time:

Then we made our way to Metro where he took a picture with one of my favourite toys from my childhood:

Back home, Xuan wrote the words "Star Wars" again:

All About Xuan!

Yesterday, Xuan made a puppet and named it Batman:

Then after his Saturday abacus class, we brought him to Toys R Us so that he could don his Iron Patriot Helmet:

During lunch, Xuan even went along with the tune of a song in his own funny way!


Back home, after picking up Ping from her childcare, both kids were posing in front of the "Toy" display shelf:


And throughout the rest of the day, he drew me and himself (as a grown man) on the drawing board!


and later drew the both of us surrounded by flora and fauna!

Back to Normal, I think...

After the disastrous cruise trip which left me spinning round and round every day, life went back to normal for Ting Yee and the kids, where Xuan continued with his Tuesday night classes, and Ping with her baby shows:

Day 4 on Costa Cruise

Because we had to check in our luggage the night before, we were carrying minimum bags to wait for disembarkation.  But before that, Ping was doing some splits on the bed:

And once we are safely back on land, I had "sea-sickness" for days to come...
