Day 2 of First Friends Sleepover and Staycation Part 2 during June holidays

When the boys woke up, it was more TV and snacks for them:


Then they played the Top Trumps card games:


A bit of Monopoly Junior:


and a lot of video games!


Meanwhile, Ting Yee attended the Parent-Teacher Conference at Ping's childcare:


where we got to know her progress in both the English:


and Chinese curriculum:


We then all had lunch at a nearby Western restaurant:


before heading to another hotel for our Staycation:


where it was for Ping's birthday:

Day 1 of First Friends Sleepover

After Xuan's Chinese class, we picked up his K2 friend and his brother for a sleepover at our home:


The kids watched a late night movie, Angry Birds movie again for Xuan and Ping, while eating snacks:


Then the boys opened one of Xuan's birthday present, Lego Star Wars, to play:


Bedtime was in the living room, on the floor!

Play then Homework

Here, Xuan rode on Ping:


and then Ping rode on Xuan:


Both of them then ended up doing homework:

Xuan is 8 years old!

Xuan turned 8 today! In the morning, he posed for a picture with his birthday presents:


and was very happy that most of the presents were Lego toys!


So he started building one, while Ping was designing some pattern:


Ping's design turned out to be Cinderalla's dress!


and Xuan showed off his Lego Nexo Knights:


We went to Krazy Salads for lunch, where Xuan enjoyed his ice-cream:


while Ping just loved her salad and mango juice:


The kids had a fulfilling lunch!


Xuan built more Lego Nexo Knights when we went back home:


and there was even a present hand delivered personally to Xuan from one of his K2 friends:

Ting Yee bought this cake for Father's Day, Xuan's birthday and Ping's birthday:


We all loved the ice-cream cake! (I was actually very tired today):

Staycation Part 1 during June holidays

We had another Staycation today, but the highlight was this balloon exhibition, where there are balloon versions of the Singapore "Durians", the Flyer and MBS:


The kids then rested for a while next to a bus:


and continued to play with Angry Birds toys while waiting at the hotel reception:


After we got the room, I stayed in the room because I was tired, and Ting Yee brought the kids to experience more balloon sculpting, like this throne, crown and sceptre:
