Xuan's K2 Friend's Birthday Party

We met up with my parents for lunch today and the kids were happily playing with their grandmother's mobile phone:


Then before going to her abacus class, Ping was playfully lying at the sofa area in the library:

In the evening, we brought the kids to attend Xuan's K2 friend's birthday party, where he was constantly being chased by his friends:


not to mention constantly eating:


and playing:


Ping was climbing up high when it was time for us to leave:

Karaoke and Mandarin Classes

In school, Ping was quietly doing school work with her classmates:


Because of an overseas staycation this weekend, the Friday Mandarin classes were brought forward to today.  After the classes, Ting Yee actually brought them to sing karaoke!

The kids woke up content, where I helped Ping complete the puzzle she was holding in her hands:

Scooby-Doo theme song

Both Xuan and Ping loved Scooby-Doo so much that Xuan was just so contended with watching any iteration of Scooby-Doo:

Ping's 6th birthday celebration

It was Ping's 6 years old birthday party today, and she was up getting ready in her Little Mermaid outfit!


Since his sister was in costume, Xuan wore his Stormtrooper one:


Then we all went over to the community club to set up all the fun activities for the party.  Shortly, Ping's friends started coming in and everyone had fun.  One of the friends even started singing:


and of course, not to be outdone, Ping also wanted to sing because she was the birthday girl after all!


Eventually, Ping and most of all friends got together and sang and screamed:

Then the game master came and got them to play some strange and funny games:


In between the fun and laughter and singing, the kids managed to take group photos together:

and one with the family, except that Ping's friend also joined in:


Then it was time to cut the cake, a very huge cake no less!

After the party, all of us headed to our staycation hotel!

After having breakfast at and checking out of the hotel:


we went for karaoke:

Children's theatre play

We attended a children's play in the afternoon, which the kids loved:


Then at night, Ting Yee caught Ping singing in her room while trying to sleep:

Ting Yee brought the kids to have dinner at Raffles City first, before bringing Xuan to CHIJMES for his Choir performance:


I met up with Ting Yee and Ping at Raffles City shortly after, and had dinner with Ping at the fountain:


The girls then posed with Beauty and the Beast promotional materials:

We caught a glimpse of Xuan while he was practising at the courtyard:


It was pretty hot there:


Then came the walk up to the stage for Xuan and his choir mates:

and then picked up Xuan and headed home:


Back home, Xuan got to eat dessert before going to bed:

After dinner, while Ping was at her gym class, Xuan was singing his comedy sing about the army:

Ping's childcare year end celebration concert

After months of preparation, today was the day Ping performed on stage with her childcare friends!  But before Ping came on stage, Xuan met two of his K2 friends, who had siblings participating in the concert:


After about 30 mins, Ping came out and performed her 冬天里的一把火!

In the evening, Ping was showing us her rehearsal for her year end childcare concert! Check out her flamboyant performance!


Then Xuan came over and showed us his ping pong ball into a cup trick:

It was for a short while, but Ping was singing before Xuan gave her vitamins to eat:

Back to Hamley's on Sunday, Xuan and Ping embarked on another toy tour in this toy store:


complete with hugs from mommy!


We had lunch at Swenson's nearby:


Then in the afternoon, it was swimming time:

The long journey to learning how to ride a bicycle

Since both kids are awake, I brought them down to the playground, where Ping loved to play at the fitness area:


while Xuan was being forced to learn how to ride a bicycle with two wheels:


Back home, the kids loved to fool around at the sofa:


During swimming lessons, Ping was progressing well:


and Xuan was progressing better!


After bathing, the kids were behaving normally, playing make believe (Xuan the doctor, Ping the singer):


but it didn't take long for them to go free and crazy after wards!
