Meeting up with Friends Part 3 and Werribee Open Range Zoo

First, a happy birthday to Ting Yee.  The day started with the kids watching Friday morning cartoons:


Then we went to Werribee Open Range Zoo with Ting Yee's cousin and had lunch (full of chips!):


We nearly missed the bus ride when Xuan had to go to the toilet, but we made it just in time:


After a bus ride around the zoo, we came to the Safari Station:


where we go to experience lions up close and personal, with a glass panel as barrier:

Before we left the zoo, here's a nice spread of animal statutes:

We stopped by Victoria State Rose Garden as well:


We went back to Ting Yee's cousin's place and ate one of the birthday cakes (which her cousin bought):


and headed to The Booth @ Box Hill to meet up with our friends and their kids for dinner:


After the dinner, we headed back to the cousin's place and ate a different birthday cake!
