Fun @ Snow City and Science Centre

We started off today with a visit to the Science Centre first, but not going in yet.  Instead, we walked along this area, where we met R2-D2:


before reaching the indoor playground at Science Centre:


But our destination was not the playground, but rather here, at Snow City, where the kids tested some of the merchandise:


and experienced what they might look like if they were living in very cold countries:


That pink outfit just won't do here!


Then after meeting up with Xuan's K2 friend and his family, we headed into Snow City and experienced the snow, where Ting Yee and Ping went down the snow slide:

The four of us relaxed at a sledge:


and the two happy siblings went down the slide for the umpteenth time:


We then had McDonald's for lunch:


and visited the Science Centre, where Xuan had a "makeover":

Ping meanwhile preferred to stick to cardboards:


Ting and the kids then entered this "Typhoon Simulator":


and experienced... simulated typhoon:


They even got to experience a simulated earthquake!


The kids then enjoyed cycling on... square wheels?


Ping just loved to pose in front of the camera:


and so did Xuan!


Before we called it a day and headed to a nearby hotel for our staycation, Ping wondered about this weird "robot":
