2016 Melbourne Trip Day 5

Last night, we had checked into a hotel which we would stay until we depart from Melbourne.  But today, we had an early lunch at Veg-Out, having vegetarian food:

The pace would slow down from now, where we would relax by sight-seeing and window shopping, first at Melbourne Central:

to visit the special clock that plays music every hour:

Then of course to the toys department where they were showcasing Lego Star Wars:

as well as customised Lego sets!

Ping just loved to sit near Lego Luke Skywalker:

The kids even got to ride on a free Christmas kiddie train:

Then Xuan was checking out some custom-made Lego Christmas decorations:

and stumbled upon this comic book cover!

Of course Ping wanted in on the action too:

Then we went over to the outdoor shopping centre next to the Melbourne Star, where the Smurfs had invaded the place!

Here, Xuan just wanted to relax:

So did Ping:

But she was more interested in Smurfette:

Xuan was laughing at the funny Smurfs:

and both kids just adored this happy Smurf:

The house of the Smurfs could be sat on!

The king of sunglasses were walking around one of the shops:

while the queen was happily showing off hers:

and more!

More Smurfs wherever we went:

They even had a Summer School!

Ping then enjoyed a quick drink with Ting Yee:

before both kids dropped my coin spiralling into the Coin Wishing Well:

and they did the same when their cousin joined them:

Then both families headed up onto the Melbourne Star:

with Xuan:

and Ping enjoying the view with their cousin:

It got darker as the wheel went up:

and even darker when we came down:

Of course, the trip was not complete without paying a visit to the gift shop, where the kids played at the kiddy house:

where Ping didn't want to go!
