1st day of Primary 1 and Primary 4 for Ping and Xuan respectively

Today was the very first day of Primary 1 and Primary 4 for Ping and Xuan respectively! It was the first time Ping attended Primary school and she was super excited:


The kids had cereal and milk for breakfast:


and then went downstairs to wait for the new bus uncle:


Ting Yee and I travelled separately to their school as parents were allowed to enter the premises on the first 3 days of school, and we found Ping seated with her classmates for the morning assembly:


After singing the national anthem and school anthem, the kids were ready to proceed to their class:


And thus began the class learning for Ping as she marched to her classroom:


In class, Ping seemed to be enjoying herself with her new classmates:


Then came recess time, where Ping was guided by her Primary 5 buddy:


The buddy helped her with buying food.  After the food was consumed:


the buddy guided Ping to return the plates back to their respective bins:


and the same thing happened for the second recess time:


Towards the end of the lessons, Ping was getting a bit bored, or tired:


before she and her classmates were being led to the hall to make way for us parents to listen to what the form teacher had to say about the first day for the students:


Because we also signed up for after school care for both Xuan and Ping, I stayed back to observe how the kids were coping, and it seemed Xuan was coping well during lunch with his friend:


and Ping was hopefully adjusting to the after school care life:
